The first News Letter of IVA, Kerala (Print Edition) was released in January 2000. Dr.P.Balachandran was the founder editor. This was printed by the last week of every month and sent to the secretaries of IVA district units for distribution among the members. This four page News letters contained the news on activities, opinions, statistics, achievements of members and their families, obituaries, forthcoming events etc.

Online version of News Letter
To make the News Letter available to the veterinarians residing outside Kerala, a PDF version of the News Letter was designed in January 2000 itself. It was sent to all the vets whose E-mail addresses were available with the Editor. The responses from the overseas vets were overwhelming.
